Seattle’s Museum of History & Industry. Impressive, right?

Last night was MOHAI’s fashion-themed First Thursday art event, and the official unveiling of the winning shoes. Hourglass was joined by Seattle-based Prairie Underground (who also donated a piece from their collection) and Nordstrom, who brought some of their vintage shoes and accessories for display.

Here’s our table. It’s always so much fun to show off our shoes at events!

When it was time to announce the winning shoe design, Rachel was called up on stage to unveil them herself.

Rachel and her daughter were both wearing their “Violet, Violet’s” in honor of the occasion. This picture is a little blurry, but I couldn’t leave it out…

Proud, daughter, proud mother. Um….let’s just ignore the giant bottle of Rainier in the background, shall we?

Anyway. It was a great honor for Rachel, and for Hourglass, and we can’t thank MOHAI and Clara enough for the invitation!

Have a great weekend.
