Lisa and I met Melody at a silent auction months ago, and she asked if we’d be willing to create shoes to go with her collection (side note: one of the great things about wearing Hourglass shoes wherever we go is that they’re great conversation starters. We’re constantly being approached by interesting people who want to know about our shoes!).
We were happy to do it. We learned early on that saying yes as often as possible–in business and in “real” life–opens doors, makes lasting connections, and keeps things interesting.
Melody provided us with sketches, and Hourglass artist Hillary waved her magic brush and turned them into beautiful shoes.
Here are some of them, patiently awaiting their second coat of sealant.
It should be a fun night. We’re going, of course, and we’ll post more pictures after the event!
