You know that feeling when you run into an old friend you haven’t seen for months or even years, and they ask casually what you’ve been up to? I always get a little anxious when I hear that question, because really–where do you even start?
That’s how I’m feeling as I sit down to type this post. Like there is SO MUCH going on at Hourglass right now that it would take me a full week to cover all the amazing, crazy things that have happened in the last week.
Most of these things are hush hush right now, as they’re still in the early planning stages. There’s a lot, though. Lisa and I just made a list of all the exciting developments that have literally happened in the last seven days, and there are 16 items on that list.
One thing I CAN talk about is that we’re partnering with the Miss Washington Organization on an “(iss)shoe” very soon. Hourglass artist Hillary has designed a really gorgeous pair of shoes in honor of Children’s Miracle Network (the national Miss America platform), and we’ll be donating $20 per pair to the cause.
We’re really excited to be working with the awesome people of the Miss Washington Organization again! Check back here (or on Facebook or Twitter) for a more formal announcement of the partnership (and pictures of the shoes, of course).
We’ll fill you in on all the other exciting things we’ve got up our sleeves as soon as we’re able!
P.S. Hey, look! It’s finally spring in Seattle!
