I recently read a quote that went something like this:
“It’s one thing to believe the horse will win the race. It’s quite another to bet on her.”
Even after a busy holiday weekend where most people made it a point to be nowhere near their computers, we have still received at least one pledge on every single day of our Kickstarter campaign. As of this morning, we’re 67% funded with just less than three weeks to go.
Thank you, wonderful people, for betting on our horse.
Our long weekend was a nice mix of friends, rare Seattle sun, a cocktail or two and…work. But work is fun these days, so that’s okay.
Here are a few pictures from our adventures…
Kira, Lisa, Debbie and Nicolle (all Hourglass artists) at Debbie’s open studio. Naturally, the sexy, hand-painted shoes we were wearing were cut out of the photo. Oh, well. They did get lots of attention, though!
…and there were puppies!
Check out Debbie’s brand new Space Needle mural on the main wall of Pie in Center House at Seattle Center!
Kira and Jeanie at Folklife music festival.
Sunday meeting made more fun with mimosas. Hillary, Rachel, Maya, Lisa, and Kira’s laptop.
Here’s a little sneak peak of a pair of bridal shoes Rachel is working on. Gorgeous, right?
That’s all for now! We’ve got some really exciting announcements coming up in the next couple of weeks, so make sure to check back for updates.
…and as always, if you or anyone you know would like to support us and get some awesome rewards and undying love in return:
